Higher Institute of Technological Education (ISET)
Fundación Proydesa has created the Higher Institute of Technological Education (ISET - Instituto Superior de Educación Trecnológica) -Act. Nr. 8522 DIGEP-, to offer the "Computing Network Operator Training" career that grants the degree of "Computing Network Operator", which confirms the necessary skills to work successfully on modern networking environments. The program is an own pedagogic design approved by DIGEP and which has e-learning contents.
Having in mind that each person is the result of human interaction, and that he builds reality and himself in a continuous process of change, we have taken as a fundamental axis the person's comprehensive education with the purpose of generating the continuous search of the truth, the development of critical awareness, and the acquisition of ethical values.
Our proposal for technical training has to do with the transmission of values which assures the continuity and recreation of the society, understanding and looking for answers to the problems of the creation of identity of the individual and of the values and knowledge which form such identity. IS it for that reason that we have created the Higher Institute of Technological Education, which has the following objectives::
- Training professionals with skills in order to deal with the diversity and complexity of the network technologies market.
- Promoting the use of new information technologies and communication as a democratizating tool of the human resources knowledge.
- Training qualified operators providing them all the theoretical-practical opportunities to interact in working groups, laboratories and with the neccesary tools to enable performance in the work field.
- Answering the market demand, training qualified professionals in the network technologies.
- Developing labor skills, which are a set of knowledge, attitudes, values and skills related to each other that permit a satisfactory performance with competences applicable to true labor situations.
