Network Design ProgramThis course brings complementary skills to CCNA which allow the student to assess, design and implement Voice and Data networks to make the pre-sale and to project a network together with the client. Labor profileThe Network Design Program graduates are capable to make these tasks effectively using their knowledge about routing, switching, wireless, VoIP, ToIP, security and Self- Defending Networks, and to design home and corporative networks. When we are trying to design a networking solution, the previous knowledge of different technologies, as well as the assessment of strenghts, convenience and obstacles for its implementation, are the basic requirements that all networking specialists must have. Duration The course duration is two semesters with a frametime of four hours per week. Requirements Experiencie in network design or having passed the CCNA 1 module is recommended. InstructorsThe Instructor Training program is carried out twice a year to guarantee the quality of the educational service. Lab guides The students will develop hands-on lab exercices and will study problematic situations in depth through Case Studies related to the main items in the curriculum. Exams Assessment exams, one written and one in a hands-on lab environment are taken during the course. All the exams are taken in-person using the Internet and the User ID and the Password. CertificationAt the end of the course a passing certificate as a Network Design Expert will be given issued by Fundación Proydesa and the National Technological University, Santa Fé Regional Faculty. This course enalbles professionals to take the COPITEC – NDP certification . The Proydesa Network graduates in this course will have the right to receive a discount voucher to take the certification exam.
