Panduit Network Infrastructure Essentials

Based on real world practices, this course provides the necessary skills to be an installer specialized in Voice and Data Networks, including IP telephony and Wireless. You can expand the limits of the networking world through a comprehensive knowledge of the connection devices and the network physical layer.

The use of networks to transmit voice and data is a phenomenon that has been constantly growing since the revolution in telecommunications in the nineties. The convergence and the Triple Play are already a worlwide reality that also is getting a strong presence in our country.

With the gowth of Telephony over IP (ToIP) and Voice over Ip (VoIP) communications, organizations of different sizes require specialized technicians capable of determining the best solution of structured cabling for special requirements.

Panduit Network Infrastructure Essentials graduates have the capacity to implement this structured cabling networks in departments of large companies as well as companies specifically dedicated to this task.

Duration

The course duration is one semester with a timeframe of four hours per week.

This course needs basic knowledge of computing.

The Instructor Training Program is carried out twice a year to guarantee the quality of the educational service. Lab guides

As a course of technical formation, the practical part is very important.

The students will develop hands-on laboratories exercises and will study problematic situations in depth through Case Studies related to the main items in the curriculum.

Exams

Assessment exams, one written and one in a hands-on lab environment are taken during the course, all in Spanish.

All the exams are taken in-person using the Internet and the User ID and Password.

Certification

The students that have all the requirements to pass the course will receive a PNIE certificate issued by Cisco Systems, Panduit, Fundación Proydesa and the Local Academy.

Besides, all the contents for the international certification Panduit Certified Technician are covered.
